Youth Leaders: One youth advisor is required for each 8 youth. If you only have a few youth at your church lets team up!
Get ready to cool off and hit the water! On Tuesday, July 28, the youth group is heading out for a scenic morning paddling down the beautiful Fawn River right here in our backyard. Whether you prefer the teamwork of a canoe or the solo steering of a kayak, it’s going to be a fantastic day on the river.
We will meet in Sturgis at 9:00 AM and head directly to the boat launch to get our vessels in the water. We’ll spend about 3 hours drifting, paddling, and navigating the river. Along the way, we'll find a nice spot on the riverbank to pull off, stretch our legs, and stop to eat lunch—so packing some good snacks or a lunch that can handle a little river travel is a must!
This is a quintessential summer youth event and the absolute perfect trip to invite a friend along for the ride.

Gear up for a scenic summer cruise! On Wednesday, August 5, our youth group is heading south across the state line to ride the beautiful Indiana Pumpkinvine Nature Trail. Known for its stunning woodland canopies, lush farmlands, and incredible views of the local countryside, it’s one of the best paved trails around.
We will meet at First Presbyterian Church at 10:00 AM to load up. Don't worry about how to transport your wheels—we will have a dedicated bike trailer at the church to safely haul everyone's bikes to the trailhead and back!
We’ll hit the path together, soaking in the summer sun, and stop at 11:30 AM for a well-deserved lunch break. During our break, we will get to park the bikes and explore the charming Amish village of Shipshewana! It's the perfect chance to stretch our legs, grab some incredible local food, check out the unique shops, and refuel before finishing up the rest of our route.
