Ready to put faith into action, serve alongside friends, and make a real difference in our region? All middle and high school students in our presbytery are invited to head to Battle Creek for Urban Plunge—a high-energy weekend packed with hands-on service, large-group games, worship, and connection with youth from across Michigan!

Hosted by First Presbyterian Church of Battle Creek, this weekend retreat gives us the chance to practice open-hearted hospitality and community impact. We’ll roll up our sleeves for hands-on local service projects on Saturday, recharge with devotions and dynamic worship, share meals around the table, and jump into fun group activities.

Weekend at a Glance

• Friday, Nov 6: Arrive in Battle Creek between 5:30–7:00 PM, followed by dinner, team games, worship, and interactive teaching.

• Saturday, Nov 7: Morning and afternoon community service projects, group games, dinner, and a special evening outing!

• Sunday, Nov 8: Morning devotions, worship at First Pres Battle Creek, and wrap-up around 11:30 AM before heading home.

Whether you’ve been coming to youth group for years or are checking things out for the very first time, there is an open place at the table for you—and friends are always welcome to sign up and join the team!
